Newmarket Ultimate League (NUFL), is owned and managed by Ultimate Junkies.
This League is classified as “recreational” that allows for all players of all levels to take part. Whether you’re looking for competitive play, improving your skills, new to the sport or you just want to keep fit, this is the league for just that. The importance of game/player spirit is acknowledged at all times. Anyone looking to get into the sport of ultimate must take it upon themselves to learn about “SPIRIT OF THE GAMETM“
Start-up: The league runs from the first Sunday after the long weekend in May until the last Sunday in August. We are a co-ed league (4 males + 3 females on the field at all times).
Cost to participate: $580/Team (up to 17 players) or $45/Individual .
Rules: The league follows the 10 simple ultimate rules (Ultimate Players Association UPA).
Age: 18+ (note if you are under 18th and a parent or guardian is willing to provide his/her approval for you to participate, a printed waiver with signatures must be completed.
Location: Game are played at Bayview Park (George Richardson) off of Davis Drive VIEW MAP
Game Times: Sunday’s from 5pm – 9pm. Games are not played on long-weekends.
Weather: Games are played rain or shine, but are cancelled immediately if lightening occurs.
Duration: Games are 1 hour in lenght.
Structure: League is set into tiers based on your team’s average skill level. Teams can move up or down into tiers.
Non Contact: Ultimate is a sport that does not allow contact.
